NEW YORK, May 19, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — World-renowned, family-run Italian coffee company Lavazza is delighted to announce its return to this year’s National Restaurant Association Show, taking place in Chicago from Saturday May 21 for tuesday 24 may. Lavazza Vice President – Head of Marketing for the Americas, Camille Vareille and key members of the company’s sales and training teams will be on hand to learn about the growth of the heritage brand in brewed coffee at cold ready to drink and guide consumers through demonstrations and specialized courses. .

The Lavazza training team will support the NRA Demo Bar for activations and events. The team is made up of Kathleen McCarthya Certified Specialty Coffee Trainer from the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA AST) and professional-level Barista who serves as the brand’s New York training manager; Frank La Russoa SCA AST and Coffee Skills Professional (CSP) with expertise in office coffee service and sustainability; and michelle chen, an SCA Barista Professional specializing in latte art and brewing methods. These accredited trainers, who have a combined 60 years of industry experience, will guide attendees through detailed sessions ranging from brewing method demonstrations and comparison tastings to cold brew recipes and simple food pairings. Monday May 23: Comparative tests Chemex and French Press (9:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.), RTD tastings (11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m.), Cold infused mocktails (12 p.m. – 2 p.m.), milk steaming demonstration (2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.).
