Woman seriously injured after jumping from hotel window after police find overdosed person in room – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio
MIAMI TWP., Montgomery County – A woman was seriously injured after jumping from a third-story window onto the concrete below at the WoodSpring Suites after police responded to the hotel for a drug incident.
Officers and medics first responded to the hotel in the 3700 block of Summit Glen Drive just off I-75 around 10:40 a.m. to a report of a domestic disturbance, Miami Twp said. Officer Drew Olinger.

When officers arrived at the hotel, they discovered someone had overdosed in the hotel room. As doctors attended to the person, a woman in the hotel room ran to the window and climbed through the window onto the external air conditioning unit, Olinger said.
After negotiating with the woman to get off the air conditioning unit for about an hour, she jumped onto the concrete below, police said.
The woman had serious visible injuries when she was taken to hospital for treatment. His status was not immediately available.
The person who overdosed was also taken to hospital, but his condition was not known.
Police said charges in the case were possible, but the scope of any charges were not yet known.
