Dubai is a city that deeply appreciates a local concept and rest assured, the new café and artisan bakery, Risen, has been lovingly created as a welcoming sanctuary that invites you inside, just like the embrace of a good friend or a stellar cup of coffee.

Opening on Monday 17and January, in the heart of Dubai Marina, Risen is an all-day dining destination that will satisfy every palate with a variety of flavors, from freshly baked breads and pastries to fragrant beers.

Impeccable quality, craftsmanship and storytelling through food are an integral part of Risen’s DNA which promises to deliver a unique sensory and culinary experience from the start. Deeply committed to a sustainable narrative, everything is made from the highest quality ingredients, with natural and biodegradable materials used throughout.

Additionally, products are sourced locally wherever possible, including a partnership with Orbis Coffee – one of the first coffee roasters in the Middle East that has become a leader in sustainability in the region. Using Orbis Coffee’s premium arabica coffee beans, the newly launched cafe invites coffee connoisseurs to explore an incredible assortment of signature beers, including Comon, made with homemade cinnamon syrup, coconut syrup, coffee and milk, Russian RAF, a perfect blend of vanilla syrup, gold leaf, coffee and milk, and Charcoal Latte, all of which are a must try.

On the menu is the genius version of the cafe’Croffes‘, a superb hybrid of artisan croissants beautifully transformed into waffles. The New English is a croffle with poached eggs, hickory smoked bacon, caramelized onion jam, avocado, mixed leaves and truffle mayonnaise while The French connection is the perfect option for the sweet tooth, featuring croffle, vanilla whipped cream, berries and custard.

From reinterpreted pastries to an emphasis on artisanal baking techniques, Risen’s food journey is unique. With homemade bread fresh daily, you can expect a phenomenal selection of sandwiches, including the Triple layer beef pastrami, the Brie-LT and Roasted shredded miso chicken. The only thing better than a sandwich is a toasted sandwich and Risen’s artistic toast is a must, along with the Triple Cheese, a masterful combination of sourdough, Emmentaler, Comté and raclette cheese and sweet chilli jam, an epic choice for toast lovers.

The salads at Risen are also sensational! Expect tastes of Butternut & Maple, Bocconcini & Tomato, Marinated Yuzu Beets and Candied Walnuts & Kale, to name a few. Main courses also contain a tasty punch like creamy garlic Shrimps, simmered chicken pot pie and cold smoked salmon, offering a brief overview of the culinary delights that are in store at Risen.

In addition to spectacular food and exceptional beers, Risen will also offer a range of artisanal retail offerings including chutneys, relishes and jams as the brand grows.
