Mamaroneck Augustine’s Salumeria restaurant will open on June 21

The new Westchester restaurant opens June 21 with the arrival of Augustine’s Salumeria at 213 Halstead Ave. in Mamaroneck.
Located opposite the city’s train station, the new Italian restaurant will source ingredients largely from farms and small farms in Westchester. The restaurant is run by chef Marc Taxiera, former executive chef of Manhattan’s famed Russian Teahouse, and general manager Brianne Myers, who served as general manager at acclaimed restaurants including Eataly, BLT Steak and Loring Place. .
The 65-seat restaurant will be open for dinner Tuesday through Saturday from 4 p.m., with a brunch menu planned later in the year.
