Ponte Tampa has been in the works since just after Olivia’s 2019 debut.

Chef Chris Ponte is moving forward with the opening of his latest concept, Ponte Tampa, later this year in Midtown.

Ponte Tampa has been in the works since just after Olivia’s 2019 debut—an italian restaurant Ponte is the owner with his wife Michelle and son JT Mahoney. It also has About Swann and the recently closed Café Ponte in Clearwater.

The concept, located at 1010 Gramercy Ln. near the intersection of the Dale Mabry Freeway and Interstate-275, offers an “elegant range of modern American cuisine” including local seafood and a variety of steaks to choose from.

The opening next to the concept is a new BellaBrava location, RYDE IT spin studio, a boba bar, Tampa’s First Shake Shack and one 48,000 square foot massive whole foods.

The official opening date for Ponte Tampa has yet to be announced, but you can check out its Facebook and Instagram to stay up to date.
