British Asian restaurant chain Wagamama opens first Florida store in Water Street Tampa
Right now, the owners of Wagamama are warning customers about supply chain and labor-related price increases on its menus, but that doesn’t stop the Asian restaurant chain based in the UK to expand into Florida.
Today, Wagamama announced the opening of its first Sunshine State store on Water Street in downtown Tampa. Its 4,200 square foot restaurant will be located at 1050 Water St. and will join Wagamama’s other US sites in New York and Boston. It hopes to open in early 2022, according to a press release.
“Noodle dishes, ramen, shareable and craft cocktails” are all on the menu, which Wagamama also has
pledged to produce 50% herbal when it opened in Tampa.(Wagamama’s pledge to switch to 50% plant-based by October only applies to the UK)
