World Central Kitchen founder Jose Andreas also commented on the attack. He wrote on Twitter that he was grateful that only four people were injured and that he is praying for the victims. He also called out Russian forces in his Tweet because he said they were attacks on civilian buildings, such as markets, churches and schools.
Andres also added that, despite the bombings, the World Central Kitchen will continue its mission to deliver food to those affected by the war in Ukraine.
According to its website, the World Central Kitchen has been feeding Ukrainians since the February 24 Russian invasion. The DC-based organization says it serves food around the clock at eight border crossings across the country. It also supports local restaurants that prepare meals for Ukrainians without access to food.
